forgot to mention.

two weeks ago i came across this cute little "boutique wine and gourmet food shop" called Red, White & Bleu. since i was 30 minutes early for work i decided to drop in since work was just around the corner. I came in and i was the only customer there besides the guy behind the counter. i looked around and found their small and extremely overpriced selection of craft beers. the only reason why i came here is because yelp told me they carried "over 100 different craft beers from all over the world that range from the most approachable to the most complex styles and tastes." After looking at their selection of rogue and lagunitas and some other names i couldn't remember - i was pretty bummed out that they didn't carry pliny the elder. this was the 5th beer shops that sold craft beers and this was the 5th shop that didn't carry pliny. looking depressed the guy over the counter, who happened to be co-owner of the place, asked me if i needed any help. so i told i was looking for a specific beer. he was nice enough to look in his distributor list and saw that they distribute pliny! when he told me the news i was super excited! i might say he was pretty excited too because this was his first time hearing about pliny and elder and when he checked on beeradvocate.com he saw that it scored an A+. he told me that he would buy some for the store, some for himself and some for me. i was pretty hyped. he then hit up his distributor and unfortunately, the distributor doesn't distribute pliny in the state of virginia! wahhhhhh! so its official! i can never buy a pint of pliny in viriginia!
