how i celebrated my 25th birthday:

my first present - necco. thanks mom. 

 woke up and found roses by my bed.

waited for the mailman because i was expecting care packages.

decided to grab a pint at my local bar.

 dogfish head - indian brown ale.

 picked up my own birthday cake at Randolph's.

 headed into georgetown, dc.

 happy hour at mate.

 this place is quite bougie.

 nickle and quarter sized sushi ftl.

 lincoln memorial.

 jefferson memorial.

dessert time!

 $20/pound cookies. $4 got me 9 cookies. crazy huh?

i just wanna say:
thank you everyone for making my birthday really special. it's the first time being away from home for my birthday and everyone's calls, texts, fb messages, birthday cards and care packages really meant the world to me. i thought my 25th birthday was gonna be sad cuz i wasn't home with my family and friends - but this just showed me how much you all care. thank you everyone! i <3 you all!
