burger wars.

after hearing the horrible news that there is no carls jr in the east coast - i was super bummed. but there is a fast food joint called hardee's that is the east coast version of carls jr. THEN i learn that the closest hardee's is 40 miles away. i was heartbroken. 
there goes my western bacon cheeseburger. 

on the other hand, we do have a five guys burger and fries near the house.

supposedly its the east coast in-n-out. 

i just had to try it out.

here was my experience.

so when u walk in, they offer you some peanuts.

but they warn you not to take it out of the store.

you order here:

 then pick up there:

but while you wait - you munch on them peanuts.

if you order a regular size fries - they pile it on top of your burgers.

so then you have to rip open the bag just to find where it is.

 then u unwrap the foil and enjoy.

since there is no carls jr or hardees.

i had to make my own version of a western bacon cheeseburger.

a small bacon cheeseburger w/ lettuce, tomato, sauteed onions & mushrooms, bbq sauce.

on another note:

when people say that five guys is the east coast in-n-out.

i disagree.

i feel that in n out and five guys are not comparable to each other.

they are just different.
